Genesis

Genesis

It's the beginning of the year and it's great to be back again! I can't wait to share more of my adventures and experiences that God has contrived for me. I know it's a bit late for a typical new-year-related post, but I'd like to share the list of my new year resolution this 2015!

To start off my first blog post of the year, I wanted it to be a worth-the-read post..but with a twist! This is something that people can relate to and that would make them-even a bit, motivated for the new year!

1) Opportunity Taker
- This is a great reminder to everyone that to grab a chance means to open another door of progress; but never ever forget to pray before settling a decision!
The scale of success is best climbed by stepping on the bars of opportunities. Be the optimist who sees the opportunity even in difficulty; not the pessimist who sees
difficultly in it. Find something you love, don't take no for an answer!

"Stop waiting for things to happen, go out and make them happen."

2) Worry less, you gotta have the faith
- Life is filled with so many twists and turns, having a strong foundation of faith is the best answer to untangle these. Train your mind to see the good in every
situation and focus even in the blowing obstacles. Trust in His promise, live in faith for His work is perfect.

Philippians 1:25 "I am sure of this, and so I know that I will stay. I will stay on with you all, to add to your progress and joy in the faith."

3) Do not waste time
We only get one life, better use the time wisely!
"Time is a gift, a treasure not to be put aside for the future but to be used wisely in the present."

4) Obey your parents
- If you think this is just a piece of cake to do, I salute you! I know this is something almost everyone has faced at one point or another; let's face
it, we often times tend to disobey and increase the tone of our voice when circumstances do not meet at one line. We are to obey, care, respect, and love our parents.
Remember the love and sacrifices that they have showed for us. Let's make them proud someday!

5) Be grateful at all times
- Appreciation often times forgotten by people. Expressing an attitude that is full of gratitude starts a chain reaction to happiness. The things you take for granted, you never know, someone else is praying for. Develop the habit of being grateful and God will give you more.

6) Earn and establish
- Start raising your money and inaugurate to invest of your own business. If you are a close friend of mine, you know that I always have the ambition to become a nabob someday; and operating a business of my own is one of my biggest aspirations. You gotta find what you're passionate about and make a living out of it. This
is also a bright way to warm-up your mind for the future.

7) Be a light to others
- We are appointed to demonstrate God with all that we are, and that contains our words. It may be difficult at times, but pray to God that He would help us to use
the right words that would lift others up. The attainments and abundance that God has presented to us are tools to help us embolden one another in time of need.

8) Surround yourself with good companion
- It's about time to decide if your friend is in the friendship for the right reasons. Be mindful to what they say, what they do, and how they make you feel. If
they are believers of Christ, family-oriented, support you no matter what, and encourage you to do better; they are the people who are worth keeping for. Otherwise,
detach yourself from them while it's early. Many will work off and on of your life, but your true friends will leave a light in your heart.

9) Dream BIIIIIIIIIIIIIIG
- Dream beyond limits and keep it alive! Understand that to achieve anything, requires faith and belief in yourself. Establish a staircase of hard work, determination,
vision, and dedication. If your dreams don't scare you, they aren't big enough. Just live according to His Will and all these will occur into place.

10) Aim to do better
- Achieve achieve achieve! Accomplish your ceaseless list of ambitions in life, be a great reflection to others, love and respect one another, excel in the business
world, arrange your priorities; but above all, stay in union with God. Be the person who has found the way out despite the suffering and loss. You can have anything,
but not all at once- perform well and believe in yourself.

"Work hard in silence, let your success be your noise."
"Give yourself to the Lord, and He will truly make something beautiful of your life."

11) It's okay to fail sometimes
Do not be petrified to fall, be terrified not to try. Failure is simply the gateway to start over again, but this time in a wiser way. You gotta be steadfast- know
how to handle failure. The focal point here is the character building and not the failure itself. Sometimes, what may seem upside down to us is right side up to God.

12) Let God be the coach of your life
- Rather than relying on our mixed-up instincts, ask Him to help us reflect His ways; for His ways bring us peace and satisfaction in life. Remain in His Words and
He will remain in you. :)

Acts 2:25 "..He is near me, and I will not be troubled."
